The Buddhist Awareness Centre was established in 1994 AD by H.E. Tulku Losang Namgyal Rinpoche with the purpose of preserving, promoting and spreading Buddhism, Buddhist Philosophy, Buddhist education, Culture and traditions. The Buddhist Awareness Centre has been working and performing the various religious activities and programs since its commencement with the objective of presiding over the cultural aspects related to the Himalayan Mahayana tradition.
Its activities include explaining and interpreting the real essence of Buddhism, publishing and translating Buddhist religious text, book and providing Buddhist studies and education for the laities. Preservation and construction old and new Buddhist heritage stupa, community hall, dharma teaching, and Preaching, seminar, meditation, training, Nuney fasting retreat, Mani-Monlam recitation and practice etc. are encompassing within the Buddhist spread of Buddhist Philosophy to all humankind are some of the major activities matching with the objective of the Center.
On the auspicious occasions and Buddhist precious days, different Buddhist rituals are organized by the Center. Besides free Samvota classes (Tibetan Script), Mani-Monlam training classes for adults, classes for the youth Happy Dharma Club, pilgrimage tour has been administrating, operating and commencing on a regular basis. The Center is actively working to maintain social and cultural harmony and unity in the society through the works of religious tolerance. Currently, there are twenty eight branches and sub-branches in twenty one districts under the authority of the center.

The Namgyal Rinpoche Foundation Nepal was established in 2011 by H.E Tulku Losang Namgyal Rinpoche. Its central office is in Tinchuli, Kathmandu, Nepal. Its core values are compassion, non-violence and peace and its vision is to build a civilized, peaceful, educated and sustainable society. This is shared with many community and religious leaders who support the work that it carries out.
The Foundation supports and promotes the teaching and preserving of the Buddha Dharma thought Nepal and the social and environmental work of the Buddhist Awareness Center and the Namgyal Jyangchub Choeling Monastery. Over the time it has been in operation it has launched and supported a wide variety of programs aimed at implementing the vision of its founder and supporters.
Objective

- To form and implement concrete policies and programs to study and promote pure Buddhist Philosophy.
- To initiate, support and participate in both national and international Buddhist conference and events

- To preserve both the cultural and spiritual heritage of the Tamang people
